Some legendaries cannot be extracted, mostly because they don’t have a legendary power (like Skorn for example). Before you set out to get Kanai's Cube, you must complete Act V on a character, unlocking Adventure. (Picture: Blizzard) The location of Kanai's Cube in Diablo 3 Season 28 is relatively easy to find, but there is a prerequisite. If it is in the stash, it will not show up for you to put in the Cube. The Kanai's Cube is located in the Elder Sanctum, and our guide tells your exactly how to get there. Always check if the item is in your inventory. You mentioned that you are playing on Switch, and I am not 100% sure that the steps are exactly the same, but should work like that In further versions, searching for " diablo 3 legendary drop rates " should get you there. As some people say, I think you are new to the game (or just to Kanai’s Cube), so here is a little “tutorial” on how to use it:Ģ- In the recipes window, select the one you want (in your case it is the first one, to extract the legendary power)ģ.1- Click the button to fill the cube with the necessary itemsģ.2- If the recipe uses an item that is not always the same, you must have the item in your inventory and manually put it in the cube (in your case, put the equipment in the cube with all other items/material that were added in the last step)Ĥ- Click the button to activate the cube (some recipes ask you if you really want to do it, in your case it will tell you that the equipment will be destroyed) The Cube is typically found in the Elder Sanctum which is located in the top right, lower left or right of the Ruins of Sescheron. You can check here for a table of all weights and drop chances for 2.4.2. To find Kanai’s Cube, obtain it from the Ruins of Sescheron (Act 3) in Adventure Mode. Hence, every time you roll for a legendary 2H Mace as a Wizard, you have 25/475 = 5.26% chance to get The Furnace, 50/475 = 10.53% chance to get a Wrath of the Bone King, and 100/475 = 21.05% chance to get each of four other maces. Skywarden - 100 - does not drop for Wizard. For example, here are all the Legendary two-handed maces and their weights: When the game chooses which legendary to drop, it uses weights that determine how rare or common each legendary is. Hence, to get The Furnace, you need to be upgrading a Rare Two-handed Mace (you can either find one, or craft a Sovereign Persuader at the Blacksmith). When you use "Hope of Cain" recipe to upgrade a rare item to a legendary, the game creates a random item of type and level that the rare item was.
